Any idea to do this?

anyone jave a good ideahow to do something like this…
lets say we have a wall static mesh…

i want to create an effect or something similar…
than when an emey keeps shooting, and hits the wall…
the wall chips down the more it gets hit, then ultimately collapsing or destroyed…

like bits of pieces of wall keeps flying away, and the walls gets less and less the more it gets hit…

like for example… a wall 1 meter thick, it keeps getting hit by rockets or bombs or bullets… that sometime later, a part of the wall has same thickness, but the part where it gets getting hit gets thinner…

like in old school tankbattle… the terrain gets craters… something like that… but on the wall…
