I’m trying to modify some UE4 mannequin poses right now and it’s proving more difficult than I thought.
I tried modifying the UE5 control rig to work with UE4 but there are tons of issues with things being hardcoded for the UE5 mannequin and the spine bones. I might try to fix those but I haven’t found a good way yet.
The marketplace asset is for 4.26 and I don’t feel like installing 4.26. It also won’t be easily compatible so I’m going to have to export things in fbx back and forth.
I used to use ART in maya for animating the original mannequin but I have since uninstalled all my old versions of Maya where I had it working and am hoping to not mess up my current maya install with ART.
