Any chance shadow volumes will be implemented ? (for VR in particular)

Apparently using shadow volumes (as implemented in Doom 3 BFG) are a way less costly than shadow maps, in VR. Is there a chance Epic will implement high performance shadow volumes specifically for VR applications? (I am aware of limitations, but fast VR with nice shadow volumes shadows beats slow VR with gorgeous shadow maps; it even beats fast VR without shadows :slight_smile: )
