I really like the strong workflow in AutoCAD regarding grids and snapping, is there a 3d modelling program that does it like AutoCAD?
I tried blender but keeping things positioned to the grid and snapping is a big pain for me, I find it non-intuitive.
both Max, blender and Maya have grid snapping, I personally prefer maya for grid snapping (hotkeyed by default so you can snap to grid, vertex and object). I would suspect most modelling programs have some sort of snapping.
Snapping is a very simple feature. If you’re interested in a UI that’s similar to Autocad then the closest is 3ds Max
