This is a test bug report to see if I can actually post before I spend 30 minutes writing up the actual bug report (which I just submitted, and it didn’t get posted).

If this does work, then it should be treated as a bug report as well. As it appears that you can both be signed in and NOT signed in at the same time on the answers website.

Prior to posting this the upper area where it says my user name in all caps said ‘SIGN IN’, which I repeatedly tried to do, though it didn’t change. The bottom area where it shows my username in all lower case was there - so it obviously knew who I was.

Hi blitzd,

We are aware of a number of errors related to the title bar.

  • Does this sign in bug occur when you attempt to post an answer to someone’s post?
  • What are the steps you are taking before this occurs?
  • What browser are you currently using?
  • Does this occur in any other browsers?

Edit: I misspoke earlier. We do not have first post moderation on the answerhub, that is for the forums.

I can’t say I’ve yet been in a position to answer anyone’s post to find that out.

Navigated to answers.unrealengine.com, signed in (noted that both the locations I pointed out previously indicated I was signed in), went to profile to see questions I had asked to find your response, clicked on the question, then noted that the ‘SIGN IN’ was back beside the ‘GET UNREAL’ button.

I’m using Chrome 49.0.2623.87.

The issue also occurs in Edge 25 - although there it occurred as soon as I had signed in.
