Another day, another UE4 query - Sequence renders wrong camera

Hi all,

I would like to render my sequence but when I send it to render it renders a camera that’s not even in the sequence, it seems to be the character camera whereas the sequence camera I have set-up is a fly-through. I’ve seen through another tutorial that I need to select ‘auto-play’ on the sequence as shown in the image below but I don’t get this option on my sequence, the only time I get that option is when I ‘add a new sequence’, most annoying!.. I don’t want to have to do my camera path again, if I could copy it to the new cameras transforms that would be some kind of solution but that also doesn’t work.

Do you have a camera cut track in your sequencer, specifying which camera to be rendering from and when?

Yep I do, as below

When you say render, are you just trying to render the cinematic to images on the disc? OR are you trying to play the cinematic through the active camera when you play the level. If it’s the latter case… open your level blueprint and add this code to it.

If you are trying to render the images to disc, using the sequencer render to disc button… I’m not sure why your current setup isn’t working :frowning:

For this specific sequence I’m not rendering through playing the level, it’s an independent camera that is basically a flythrough. That code you’ve given me above may be of use though as I would also like to render the camera whilst ‘playing’ the level
