Animations: UE5 quality standard

How far-off are we from up-to-date animations regarding character movement, attacks and spells?
Seen this vid, and it just made me wonder:

Why do we still have this starter animation pack:

Or (alternatively) the hassle to migrate and fix everything within our project from other projects such as the city samples:

Shouldn’t we have a standard animation pack that actually reflects the high quality of UE5? (easy to add to new projects) with:

  • movement: crouch; sprint; slide; jump; climb-wall; wall-run; grapple; etc…
  • combat: grab pistol; fire; throw weapon; punch; hook; kick; jump-and-kick; swipe-sword; throw-fireball; jump-and-punch; etc…
  • physics: falling; dying; identifying where the object comes from and animate accordingly; getting hit by object and getting up; etc…
