I’m tired to find a solution about my animation’s issue.
I’m trying to get back my animation ( 3DS Max, animated with a Modifier Path Deform ) in UE4 but it’s absolutely impossible…
I can import in UE4 a FBX with simple animation ( juste with key frame animation ), but when it’s an animation with a modifier, Unreal Engine doesn’t want import the animation.
I tried to export in OBJ, in FBX, in Alembic File, I tried this technic: Tutorial bake animation - 3D Studio Max ( PT BR ) - YouTube
I tried to bake my animation in 3DS in the Motion TAB etc…
I tried to use the VertexAnimationTool script. It’s the only way I had a result, an animation. wrong animation, but animation.
But nothing. Impossible to retrieve my animation
Do you know how tu get back a 3DS max animation with a Path Deform modifier, in Unreal engine ?
