Animation which needs multiple meshes

So I have an animation which consists of the character pulling out the camera and taking a picture. Both the character and the camera have separate animations. The character has an animation of taking out the camera and the camera has an animation of itself being taken out. They pretty much fit together. I’m wondering how I can merge these together. Is this possible in Unreal Engine 4, or do I need to use separate software such as 3DS Max?
