Hi, I am working on architectural visualization where the building is assembled. I am using assets exported in alembic. The assembly animation is done in sequencer (timing of individual elements).
Some of my assets work completely as expected. Everything concerning the issue is placed in level and into sequencer, animations assigned and set to keep state after finish. I made sure that all things in sequencer aren’t on subframes.
The issue is that in render, some assets’ animations are triggered earlier than set in sequencer and some are not defaulting to initial frame, instead starting on f20 for example. In sequencer everything appears as it should, with correct triggering and starting position.
[f 0000] sequencer
[f 0000] render
When the animation mode is set to: Use Custom Mode, assets are stuck on some arbitrary frame until they are supposed to be triggered when animation plays from start (as in second pic) and when set to: Use Animation Asset, the animation triggers early.
I am completely baffled as to what is causing this. I even re-exported everything of concern multiple times, with padding frames and nothing works. Does anyone know an answer as to what causes this or has any pointers or insight?
PS:
Although the render would be easier to do in let’s say Blender, I need UE because of Anima and Cesium.
