Hi guys,
I retargeted the Anim Starter Pack animations to fit 4.8 mannequin. This isn’t perfect but better than using originals.
Hope that Epic updates this pack soon.

Fixed default TPS animations (Idle, Walk, Run, Jump) to avoid blend issues.
I don’t know why but default animations have their root rotated to 90° so it may cause blend issues (feet under the ground) with others animations. So I fixed it.

Thank you so much. I was starting to wonder if they planned on fixing that.
I’m still wondering why they never ‘re-targeted’ the original animations to work with the Starter Pack. Not having basic, unarmed Idle/Walk/Run or a plain jump cycle is a bit of a pain. Not a deal breaker, just a pain.
Well, you’ve got further than I have attempting to re-target other animations from the old mannequin. Any chance you could share your process? I’m getting, let’s say, ‘poor results’ from adjusting the re-target pose.

I used the first frame of both idle anims as “T-Pose” and retargeted them with Motion Builder.

I’ve downloaded the Starter Animations in 4.10 and I’m getting the error:
“Skeleton of Animation is not compatible with Blend Space’s skeleton”.
I’m used to Unity where I could use any old animation even if it was completely ruined. So any help would be appreciated.
