Animation Starter Pack not compatible with 4.9

Does anyone at Epic know if it’s in the plan to update this asset with the latest version?

Epic will definitely update the Animation Starter Pack to 4.9 in the near future. In the meantime you can still add it to a 4.9 project or add it to a 4.8 project and update it to 4.9.

Hey great thanks. I was able to successfully add it to my 4.9 project and it works well enough; I just assumed I wouldn’t be able to.

I’m having the same issue as gabryelx, but unfortunately I can’t add the asset to the project – i get the message “Asset not compatible with version 4.9, please select closest alternative version.”

I think what is meant is that you can download version 4.8, and then still add that to your 4.9 project after. I haven’t noticed any brokend functionality as of yet, so that’s good.

As the Animation Starter Pack is now fully compatible with Unreal Engine 4.10, I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved.
