Animation sequence movement changes wont translate to animation montage

Hello UE community,

So as you can tell by the summary any movement changes such as making the character move across the scene halfway through the animation is not translating to the Animation montage when I create it from the sequence. I used the Key method to make these changes to the animation within UE4. I do have Force RootMotion and Enable RootMotion on however this does not fix the issue. Any ideas?
