Hi,
I’ve been having some problem when retargeting animations from one SK to another. When I retarget the animations, the jaws are elongated to the floor. Additionally, when I retarget the Idle animation, the legs starts moving around, when in fact the animation is just meant to make the players upper body bounce up and down, not the legs as well. And lastly, when I retarget any animation, the character in the retargeted animation is halfway below the floor. Is there a solution to any of these problems? Thank you in advance.
The 2 pictures illustrate how the anim is meant to be like, only moving the body and not the feet. The third picture shows how deformed the retargeted anim is, and also how its under the floor by default. And the last 2 pictures show how the actual feets move around in the Idle anim. Any help would be extremely appreciated thank you.
UPDATE: I managed to fix the problem of the moving legs, and the character being under the floor by default. For some stupid reason, een though I remember doing it, I didn’t assign the Root bone in the Retarget Manager on the skeleton I was retargeting the anims to. The only problem left is the jaw being elongated to the floor in every anim. Any help is greatly appreciated.
