Animation Retargeting not working correctly

Ok so I have a character model that is using the same skeleton as the ue4 mannequin. The problem is whenever I try to retarget the animation it always messes up the hands. I have every bone selected to the correct bone in the retarget manager and also tried to match up both retarget poses to match each other the best I could. Every other bone retargets almost perfectly but I can’t get the hands to be in the correct position no matter what I do. I tried rotating and translating the hand but it just seems to make it worse for the most part. Is there anything I can do to get the hands to retarget correctly. I can get the fingers to work but its always messed up by the wrist. Any help is greatly appreciated I’ll post a picture below to show you what I’m talking about. Thanks!
