Animation retargeting in ue5 do not convert bone movement

Hello, I am trying to convert animation to unreal engine mannequin and it is perfectly converted in ue4 with retarget manager. But it do not work with ik rig in ue5 as the result the convertion looks like this.

I try to export the skeleton to ue4 and converted the animation then reimport the animation to ue5. it still appear the same.
Is there anything I did wrong? Thank you!

Thank you very much! convert in UE4 and import in UE5 works. In this case. I assume the animation retarget in ue5 is not completed or a bug right?

No is not a bug, is in official documentation, the skeleton is not exactly the same :slightly_smiling_face:

yep, thank you for the explaination. i know when skeleton is not the same, it will match differetly. but the point is, the animation is fully converted in ue4. but when converting ue4 animation to ue4 mannequin with similar bone in ue5 did not work as expected. If it is not a bug of ue5, is it possible to convert it in ue5 with ik rig?
