Animation retarget in UE5

Hi Everyone,

I have a problem with IK retargeter. I created a new project in UE 5.2 and using UE4 skeleton for the main character. I have some old animation for UE4 that I would like to use. I’ve created a new retargeter for UE4 skeleton, but everytime I retarget some root motion animation, the root doesn’t move.

Does anyone know how to retarget from UE4 skeleton/animations to UE4 skeleton/animations via retargeter?

Update: It looks like the root data from the source animation goes to the target pelvis.

Okay, I was so dumb.

If you have animation with the same skeleton, you don’t need to retarget the animation, just replace the skeleton.

I leave this post here if anyone else (not dumb as me) do not find the solution for this “issue”.
