Animation not playing or looping fully/looks jittery and awkward?

So i’m using sequencer to play an animation track on a skeletal mesh - it seemed to be working originally (I was using Matinee originally before converting it to Sequencer). I’m not sure when I noticed issues with the animation but I believe it may have been after importing another animation and playing with the animation weights. However i’ve set the animation weight back to 1.0 again throughout the entire thing, no key frames for the weight. There’s nothing overlapping.

It seems that the animation isn’t playing all the way through each go. It’s a looping animation of my skeletal mesh (a dog) running.
I read another thread that said something about adding looping interpolation, however that didn’t help me at all.
