Animation mesh is very small and wrong

Hey folks, looking for some help here either through guided word or looking at my problem directly (i’ll happily share the model i’m trying to get working, for instance).

My problem began once i made an animation nearing 3000 frames in 3ds max. Before, i had tested an animation import with a 5 second wave and it worked great so i used that model to make the longer animation. Now however, when i load in the model the mesh, skeleton, and physics seem to be right but the animated mesh will be very small and all the limbs are stretched out all Dead Space style.

I’ve done nothing different from my first import so i’m at a big loss, unfortunately this is the final step to animating my short too - so i’m taking it kinda hard.

Would love some help, and please let me know if i’m explaining this poorly!
