Animation Loop Problem

Hello, i have created a zombie that follows the player when in line of site however the animation of the zombie is in some odd loop think you can help?

it does not stand in idle… switching the run and idle made no difference either.

You need to use a move in-place animation, imagine your zombie is walking on a treadmill, he is still in his place but moving.

any sort of links u can send me i cant seem to find any move in place animations

You can go to Mixamo.com, and download some free animations, then you can import them to UE4 and re-target them to use for any model you have.

Some animation on Mixamo are not in-place, but they usually have an option in their settings on the mixamo website to make them in-place animations.

okay so they can use the same animation and skeleton as each other i know that, but lets use my zombie for example how do i make it so out of all those animations he uses the specific ones for him, i.e Idle walk and run, u can choose one specific animation in the animation asset however that wont work because he wont do the rest of the animation, i thought about making a blend: Screen capture - 7c28d97aec6d9b8c5300ccd630916131 - Gyazo

however as u see in the GIF’s hes bugging out, im lost at the moment.

Like I said you should use a in-place animation, the character should not move, he should animate while staying in place. You can creat your own in-place animations, get some from the market place, or download some from mixamo
