Even when I open a new project, go into persona with a new mesh, do nothing to it, even a animation where the mesh is standing still, or walking lags so much that it basically makes it useless trying to do anything animation wise. My computer can’t really be the issue, I had no problems with doing animations in Unity, 3ds Max, and Blender. No idea why in UE4 it’s so slow and spikey. It feels like it’s going barely 1 fps. -.-

Hi J.Kaitou,
Can you post your dxdiag here so I can take a look? Additionally, does this occur with the base Mannequin and base animations available for that asset? It is important to keep in mind that UE4 is more performance intensive than Unity, 3DS Max, and Blender, so it may be hardware related. Here is a link to the minimum recommended specs for running the editor:
Isn’t just happening in persona, the lag. It’s everywhere. Sometimes so slow that the screen flashes red for a second. When I tried closing UE4, it crashed, lost my project even though I saved it.

What video card are you currently using? I can see from this that you have only 4 gb of RAM, we highly recommend a minimum of 8 gb to run the engine. With less than 8, we cannot guarantee that the engine will run smoothly.
