Howdy all,
I’ve been banging up against a wall trying to get animation out of maya into UE4. I’ve had some small wins, but still have yet to cross the finish line. I am able to get my character in, and have some animation applied. It was initially laying on the floor but checking “Enable Root Motion” seemed to fix that. Now I’m stuck with stick legs as you’ll see in the following gifs.

Any ideas what’s happening, or familiar issues noticed?
As you can see in this last video, Advanced Skeleton rigs seem to have no issue importing into Unity.
…Help?
