I’m using UE 5.5, doing the Coursera Game Design Certification, and in the video is used the UE 5.4, but using UE 5.5 the “Transform Settings” or Animation Import Settings just gone.
I dont know it I need to activate something but seems not the case.
How can I change the animation rotation after import?

Try this. I didn’t find how to bulk edit this, tho. It could be a pain if you have a bunch of assets to tweak.

I am doing this same lesson with UE 5.6 and this fix works. Thank you so much!
I’m getting increasingly frustrated with unreal. I export a mesh to maya to fix something and then i reimport it and it is 90 degrees off. There is no way to change the re-import settings and there is no simple method to fix the mesh. It’s 2025! I try to re-import it and the dialog box has been handily removed for my ease of use. I only needed to send it to maya because the modelling tools broke the mesh in the first place! This whole axis orientation thing negatively affects the use of Unreal on an almost daily basis. It stops you from intuitively using Unreal.
So the Reimport Animation with dialog works, but I wish the import Rotation option was there in Assest details rather than hiding it in the reimport option. I don’t know why Epic changed it but I guess we have to live with it.
