Animation - Import Incorrect Framerate

Hi There,

I have a question about importing animations into Unreal in a specific FrameRate.

My Maya scene is set at 30 FPS, I baked my animation and exported this into FBX.

But then, when I import this animation into Unreal, the FrameRate is different. The engine set the animation FrameRate at 24FPS.

Strange … I don’t know how to fix this, as the field that seems to set this up is not available…

That’s completly random because most of the time, animations are imported with correct FrameRate, but sometimes it’s not.

I already had this issue in 5.3, even in 5.4. Is there anything that can be done to fix it ?

Or, is there a reason out of my knowledge that can exist for Unreal to proceed this way ?

Thanks a lot for your answers !!

I have a similar issue controlling/editing framerates in UE5, I can new-import the framerate at 30fps, but my re-imported anims (trying to replace 24fps to 30fps) will stay at 24fps playback speed and have 30fps imported speed, which plays back slower that intended. Would be nice to be able to set all framerates in engine.
