Animation from Houdini


I currently have an fbx file that contains a character mesh with a bone rig that has animations baked on the bones. I am trying to bring in this animation into UE4.8.3 but to no avail. It shows the animations on the bones but not having the mesh being deformed. Any ideas what might be going wrong?

Is it safe to say the character’s mesh is skinned to the bones properly? I’ve done it before, but I’m a bit rusty so will need to think it through.
