Hey guys whats up! Straight to the point, i’ve enabled the Animation Budget Allocator and have it running. I dont really understand what some of the settings are doing. Lets start with this image.
the very bottom option ‘Auto Calculated Significance max distance’. Weather i set this to 1, 1000, 10000, or its default of 30000 it makes no difference whatsoever. When ive got the gui stat overlay on and can see the enemy’s nearby with a 1.0 to 0 based on distance, i thought it would affect that number for this setting since its description it contains the desc: “Components mapped within 1 to max will have significance mapped 1 to 0, outside of maxdistance significance will be 0”
well clearly not if its not working. Ideas?
Take a look at the image below. I’ve set network cull to like 5 billion and my AI’s dont despawn unless 50k distance away. My budget has been set to 0.5 yet all these AI are still running a ‘Hi’ setting when they should be Low! I dont understand whats going on with this plugin.
