I have a question about animation. So, I had this idea to remake a small scene from one of my favorite childhood video games; Sly 3 - Honor Among Thieves and I had found this really nice model that I figured I would use for the player. The mesh was separated into 3 pieces. So what I was wondering is if it was possible to still animate this mesh, or somehow combine all three of these pieces? I’ve posted an Image and I’d love some help if someone has answers! Thanks!
And the easiest (and cheapest) way to combine and rig the model would be in Blender. Combining things in there is relatively easy. I’m not sure but I believe that Blender is also an animation tool as well.
You will have to create a bone system and rig the mesh to the joints. The process is not to difficult just time consuming. Blender works well for this.
