Animation blueprint not working in game?

When previewing my animation blueprint in the editor, changing the speed makes my character walk/run

but in game, when my character speeds up he stays in his idle animation, why isn’t it working? What can I do to fix this?

So you’ve set up an AnimMontage to switch between idle/walk/run by the speed variable.

Can you show a screenshot of how you’re setting the speed variable in the AnimBlueprint?


As I adjust the speed variable, his preview animation begins to run

However his animation does not change when he is moving in-game, any idea of what could be happening? I’m sure it’s something really simple, but thanks for your help
