Animation and 3D Max biped

I want to start a project in third person.

I generally do animations using 3d max biped tool. I wanted to know if there is information about UE4 exporting animations made ​​with biped tool and recommendations. I’ve been watching some great tutorials by epic , but I have not found recommendations exporting with biped.

Biped works just fine, I think though you have to make sure to use Skin for weighting the mesh rather than Physique.

Yeah, biped is pretty straightforward. Have you come across any problems so far?

Yes, always use skin to weigh everything before. It was no particular problem was simply to see what documentation should be consulted, and if there are any previous recommendations. But I’ve
seen it’s all pretty straightforward.

Biped just shows up as a bone rig like anything else, so you can use that or the CAT tools for your rig.
