Hello! I am a mechanical designer where I primarily work in Autodesk Inventor. I am looking to take my modeling projects and animate them in UE for rendered videos. I used DataSmith to bring in the projects but I need help animating them. I did a sample animation where I just used keypoints and transformed the components to fake the movements. But I am looking to have the device to be fully constrained in UE. I have watched a few tutorials but nothing really replicates what I am trying to do. I also want to stay away from bringing my model into another application to add bones or anything. Are there any tutorials that explain the physics constraints and how to code them to move on command for animations? I really appreciate the help and am excited to learn more about this program!!
