So I’m animating three slashes in maya, the first one is from idle, the second continues the first and the third one continues the second, if that makes sense. They all flow into each other.
Should I keep the animations in one big combo animation ? Or keep the slashes separate fbx? Also should I animate the end of any of these animations to go back into the original idle state?
I did a little bit of research and know that there is a tweening function in Unreal that can blend different animation states.
Also for context, I haven’t worked too much in unreal and am an artist giving these assets to my programmer (who is also new)
