Hello, I’d like to know if there’s a way to export a flag waving animation from Maya to UE4.
I know UE4 (for some reason) doesn’t support vertex animation, so how would I go?
I have a real nice animation I’d really like to use made with nCloth.
I want to avoid Apex Cloth possibly.
Have a look at the DesertRallyRace example from Epic. There are waving flags at the start position. The material of the flags should help you how to do it

If it’s Apex Cloth, I’m not even going to bother.

It uses an animated material but it does not wave like cloth attached to a pole.

I can’t find the project, where is it?
Open the launcher - library - at the bottom of the page search for “vehicle game”
