Animating a non-playable character (cinematic?)

I’m trying to mix multiple animations sequences to have an NPC perform a series of animations, like a sort of in-game performance / cinematic.

Example : character walks up to a chair, turns, sits, and then waves (or does any other number of animations). I have all these separate animations from Mixamo.

I would like to use Matinee, but unfortunately I can’t “blend” between animations through there. So the results are choppy transitions from one to the other.

What is the best way to achieve something like this?
