Hi. I’m a very passionate 3D artist, currently learning Unreal Engine for animation/ creating cinematics/ environments. And this is some in-between result.
This concept based on architectural drawing by Claude-Nicolas Ledoux.
In the next steps I want to improve the animation of the water steps, probably with Niagara fluids. I also want to do some interior views with the MetaHuman model.
I am moved by the design of your architecture. The orb and the concave shapes bring a natural feel to the environment. Is the home a sort of biodome with the water coursing through it? What a beautiful concept - a structure that serves a symbiotic purpose with nature!
I looked at a few finished and conceptual works by Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, and conclude that yours is an ode to the House of the Surveyors of the Loüe River. I really am impressed by your modern take on the design!
Should you decide upon improving the water animation and include interior views, please post updates! We would love to see your progress!
What are your goals for learning UE? What about the Unreal Engine would you say would improve your experience as a 3D artist?
Yes, exactly, the whole concept is a place where you can observe nature without disturbing the environment. Biodome is an excellent name!
I’ve been doing architectural renderings for a long time, but I’m also interested in sci-fi concepts. So here I combined a classic forest setting with a slightly futuristic building.
This project is a desire to test Unreal Engine in creating environments, to compare working methods with other programs and to debug the pipelining with the transfer of models.
At moment, I think the ability to quickly add animated plants and MetaHuman to any project is a great step in my development as a 3D artist.
Today I want to share with you some updates in my project. I have been playing around with macro and interior views.
The main goal was to get the best result without any side post processing. So I did a lot in PostProcessVolume.
Hope you like it.
I am open to any suggestions to improve the quality.
