Animated rig not transfering to mesh

Hey everyone!

Having an issue with a softbound mesh receiving animation from the rig. This character was animated in Maya where the mesh is acting as expected and following the rigs animation. After importing to UE4 the rig is still animated but the information is no longer making it to the mesh. Has anyone experienced this issue before? How was the binding information lost between Maya and UE4.20?

Any and all insight or ideas are welcome.
