Im’ trying to learn the perfect workflow from Blender to UE4 to add animated mesh (no character) and create some effects for a VR Oculus project. In the example below I have tried to export a simple animated mesh but when imported into the UE i don’t get the animation. I also tried to create a root bone to make a skeleton but with the same result.
If i move a normal cube along the y or z etc… is fine and I get animation of the cube moving on UE4 but as soon as I animated the shape of the mash I can’t import the animation in UE4.
Anyone can help me with this please?
