Animated lineart?

I use blender and i understand about grease lines.
I have never animated it but rather it is drawn on the models top…

How do i animate it, so to reduce the transparency size and visibility?
I know blendshape or rigged polys, but i am wondering if importing from blender/fbx require special treatment?

I’d love to get some pointers to available tutorial too, last time i checked from FOX engine presentation,
it uses lots of bones because blendshape are not very good…
