Animated Displacement?


I have a sequence of displacement maps that I would like to use as an animated texture in Unreal. The sequence is a series of exr maps generated out of Houdini, for water.

I saw this tutorial on working with image sequences, but not how to use it as a displacement map in a material.



I ended up solving this by learning about creating and using flipbooks. I created a sprite sheet out of the sequential textures, then created a flipbook to animate it.
