Hello,
I have created an animation in maya and have successfully imported the characters as .abc geocache and one camera as .fbx. Everything is aligned and works perfectly in the UE sequencer. I have downloaded the MeerkatDemo scene from the marketplace and trying to world offset my characters and camera in the scene in order to have them correctly placed in the environment.
Question:
I can not find a way to world offset the animated camera and the geometries together. I need to keep my composition as the camera animation contains multiple shots. I have parented them under an empty actor, but after I save, the camera pops out to the root loosing the already set offset. I would like to avoid changing the camera animation keys in UE.
Anyone knows a solution to this problem?
