Anim not right, moves sideways and backwards.

Hi guys, i have purchased a animated Kangaroo from FAB.

When i try to make a montage it flicks up 90deg and goes backwards lol
It’s not attacking as i have not added the melee attack to it, it’s the way it moves i’m questioning.

The bone structure has no root, Pelvis is the root here, if that makes any difference.

Interesting! So just to gather some information, does it do this when it’s just the animation, not montaged? It may be related to whether root motion is being used or not.

Let us know any more information you can give in that regard (montage vs animation)!

When adding to the scene just the anims if fine, they hop on the spot and do what they are ment to.
TBH it seems to be in the montage somehow now.
I made another BP for Kangaroo (no melee attack) just run anim and it hops around fine.

At first i thought it was the wrong skeleton or something like that but now now at the montage.

Work it out, was the Parent Class that was wrong, changed it and all is good again.
