GreatSword Animation Set (112 Sequences)

This is a comprehensive animation pack containing 112 unique animation sequences, professionaly crafted by an experienced game animator with 11+ years of industry experience. This set is specifically designed for GreatSword (Two-handed) combat, featuring heavy, impactful motions for both combat and non-combat scenarios.

The assets are built for Unreal Engine 4 and 5, rigged to the Epic-compatible skeleton, and are fully IK and Retarget ready.

Note on Preview Video: As an animator focused on high-quality motion, I prioritize the raw animation performance. The preview is a long-take sequence without heavy video editing to show the authentic flow of the motions.

▶ Combat Animations
  • Basic Locomotion & Traversal: Idle, Walk (Slow/Normal/Fast), Run, Sprint, Jump (Start/Loop/End), RunJump, SprintJump.

  • Lock-on Movement: Comprehensive 10-direction walk and 8-direction run for precise combat positioning.

  • Defensive & Reaction: Parrying, Guard (Start/Loop/End), Hit Reactions (Front/Back/Left/Right), Groggy (Start/Loop/End), Stun, Fall, Revive, and Die.

  • Combo Attacks: 5-step heavy basic attack sequence (includes recovery motions for each stage).

  • 10 Specialized GreatSword Skills:

    • Dash Attack & Dash Stab: Quick closing maneuvers.

    • Earthbreaker: A powerful, ground-shaking slam.

    • Titan Cleave & Heavy Twin Cleave: Massive, wide-reaching horizontal slashes.

    • Hwirind (Whirlwind): Multi-rotation spinning attack.

    • Jump Attack: Devastating downward strike from the air.

    • Shout: Power-up stance with a war cry.

    • Straight Slash & Twin Slash: Precise vertical and double-cut techniques.

  • Transitions: Seamless blending between Combat and Normal states.

  • Weapon Setup: Includes weapon bone/socket (weapon_r) data. (Note: Weapon mesh is not included).

  • Socket Requirement: Ensure your character has a weapon_r socket for proper sword alignment.

  • UE5 Support: Currently optimized for UE4 rigging. An updated IK Rig for native UE5 support is under development and will be provided in a future update.
