Android VR Calibration

I am working on an Android VR project but am having trouble with calibration. My project starts fine but when I start to move the phone to look around, the camera slowly rotates off-center so the world is on its side. I have searched the forums and answerhub and tried a number of different blueprint setups but nothing seems to change the behavior. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know what causes it or how to fix it? I am using an HTC One m7 and the First Person Template for testing purposes.
