Android Project not building in UE 4.8.1

Hope someone can tell me what is going wrong. My project would build in Android ETC2 just fine in UE4 ver 4.8.0 now since ver. 4.8.1 and 4.8.2 it will not build. Apparently I am not smart enough to understand what it is trying to tell me. Maybe someone out there can understand it and help me? My project builds just fine in Windows and in HTML5. I since updated java to jdk 1.7.0 and solved the javac warnings. Here is the only error I have left. I have been searching for the log file ‘UnrealBuildTool.txt’ on my computer with no luck so far.

The Package R errors are caused by multiple copies of the OBB downloader java files in different directories due to changing the package name at some point. 4.9 fixes this, but in the meantime, the way to fix this is to delete the project’s Intermediate/Android/APK/src and Build/Android/src directories and package again.

I had same problem with 4.12.3. Your solution fixed this.

Just deleting the intermediate worked for me, deleting the build one caused all sorts of headaches I didn’t want at this hour.
