Android build settings: OpenGL ES2 / ES3.1 / Vulkan

I have a few questions aboud Android build settings.

  1. “Support OpenGL ES2” checkbox is marked as Deprecated. Does it mean that the support of ES2 was deprecated or it is just a setting deprecation? Are ES2-ES3.0 still supported in UE4?
  2. If I check “Support Vulkan” only and uncheck ES3.1 and ES2 what does it mean? Does it mean that the game will only run on Vulkan ready devices or there is some fallbacks to OpenGL ES?
  3. “Detect Vulkan device support” settings: what is it for?
