An Unreal process has crashed: UE4 Descent

Dear Sirs,
I received the latest patch to Descent Underground. When I attempt to start the game from the ship selection screen it crashes every time. It used to work. it gives me the following error:

You do not have any debugging symbols required to display the callstack for this crash.

Is this crash occurring while working on the project, or while you are attempting to play the purchased game?
