An Unreal process has crashed - "structuresize"

Firstly I changed a variable in two structures. The game didn’t crash, everything was fine, everything was working.

The next day I wanted to open it, but now I couldn’t.

I tried to copy all gamefiles into an empty project. I was able to open it, but after I opened a file the game crashed again.

So all files are related.

I deleted all files of Unreal Engine and reinstalled it. Nothing improved.

No question in this answers hub adresses my problem. I can’t find a way out of my situtation. If anybody knows the answer to my problem I would be really happy, because I wanted to publish this game.

The solution to this problem is so simple that I only thought about it at the end.

Just change the Unreal Engine version one above your current.

All will work fine.
