Hello everyone Im new here.
Im a 3D gameplay animator looking to put my animation in Unreal and test them to see how they function, how they respond etc…
I took this mini course from Agora:
so I really have basic knowledge of Unreal, like putting an Idle and run, and some transition stuff.
But I want a bit more than that, I want to learn how to put some 3-4 hit combos, some jumps, and dodges, and maybe climbing…
I found some tutorials about that, but I don’t know who is worth trusting to follow and learn.
with my experience from learning everything by myself, you really need to know from who to learn so I don’t want to learn bad habits or something like that.
So I’m asking here and hopefully, you guys can suggest to me some good tutorials that are worth following.
and again I’m not looking to be a master at Unreal and to learn it upside down, at the end I’m an animator, so I’m only looking to put my animation In Unreal and test them.
Have you checked out the Unreal Forums Learning Library? It has great tutorials and learning paths from both Epic Games and the Community, and is being expanded all the time!
I know of a online courses that teaches you how to build a combat system similar to games like Dark Souls and Eldin Ring, however this course is not free.
The course is on Udemy and is called “Unreal Engine 5: Soulslike Melee Combat System.” The course teaches you lots of stuff and great practices, but the course is really hard to follow. The instructor cuts all over the place, but it’s not impossible to follow. If your okay with that then this course is really good.
I bought and finished the course and I’ve used everything I learned to build my own game and was even able to expand on it.
yeah I bought this too, but its horrible, couldn’t understand what he is doing…
I just looking for normal tutorial that teaches you how to put a 3-4 hit attack combo, thats it.
I tried stuff from youtube, nothing works, and I followed what they did exactly and checked couple of times, but nothing is working.
didn’t find a single tutorial or a normal course that teach that kind of stuff like a normal person and not a robot from udemy.
