I mainly worked in Unreal Engine before changing job in september of 2015. Between Sept 2015 and June 2017, i barely had time to open the editor to patch it. Last June i finally had a week off and decided to resume my work.
The editor crashed twice in the first half hour…
My video driver were not at the latest, i think they dated back from april or may 2017.
But after getting the latest driver at the time [ end of june 2017 ], i could work 2 full days of 12 hours without any crash. On the exact same hardware and install of windows from the time i posted this in 2015.
I’m pretty sure i haven’t had the time to update the video drivers since then, and here is my current version:
