Hi,
I think that most of you here played ut99 and some of you (like me) instantly recognize the sounds is from ut/or an ue based game when you hear them.
I am currently in a team that is bringing one of the ut99 mods to ue4 and imo taking these old loops and one shots would give the players a kind of nostalgic feeling.
The problem is that I think that the ut files (even the sound files everyody can find on the internet) are not royality free.
I am sure that I heard some of these sounds somewhere else (I am 100% sure that those were the same).
Do you know where epic has taken these sounds from or are they kind of standard sounds which everyone has?
