I’m here to show you my latest project named: Amber County. I worked on this game totally alone for almost one year and it has been totally developed using Blueprints.
The first chapter of Amber County has been recently released for free on itch.io so I really hope you will play it and, above all, you will like it!
Amber County is an incredible, hybrid adventure that mixes puzzles and narrative just like the old Point and Click games do. Solve puzzles and live the the mysterious journey of Steven O’Hara, the blind detective that solves cases using his “dreams”. The game is inspired by TV series and videogames like Twin Peaks, Deadly Premonition or Alan Wake but, at the same time, it preserves its own identity thanks to the “weird lore”, the inusual black and white graphic and the main topics of the story: dreams and reality.
-------------------- STORY --------------------
A recurring nightmare will force Steven O’Hara to take some holidays in the “fancy” Amber County. After arriving, the agent Gwen Neuer will ask for his help and he will be involved in the Berry Olsen suicide case… but he doesn’t know that something greater and obscure is awaiting him and that suicide case will only be the beginning of his problems and of the County’s ones.
